Code Brew
Code Brew coffee kiosk, in the NRGH lobby, provides a welcoming place for patients, staff and visitors to meet or take a break. It recently underwent a major facelift and expansion in order to keep up with its burgeoning customer base. “We knew it was time to renovate when we were serving 100 customers an hour every morning,” says Lynda Fielder, Manager. “We now serve 550 to 650 customers per day during the week, and this will increase during the wet winter months.” The renovation provides bigger, more efficient space for the kiosk’s staff – now 14-strong – and has allowed for more seating and an extended menu: soups, stews, savories, salads and granitas are a few of the new offerings.
Code Brew is owned and operated by the Foundation, which directs all profits towards medical equipment and healthcare services for Central Vancouver
Island.
